It was built in 402 as a Basilica with 3 naves. It was restructured by Sixtus IV della Rovere in 1475 that reduced the church in just one nave. The porch presents five Roman columns and the interior has interesting frescoes by Cavalier d’Arpino, Andrea Pozzo and Gaspare Dughet.
