Church of S.Maria della Vittoria is a Baroque church, started in 1608 by Carlo Maderno, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin.Inside the Cornaro Chapel (on the left transept),there's one of the best Baroque sculptures in Rome : Bernini's Ecstasy of St Theresa of Avila, one of Bernini's most well-known works.
