Piazza della Rotonda, Rome

This square in a typical Roman style, surrounds the Panthéon, and at the centre is a fountain designed by G. Della Porta in 1578. In 1711 it was surmounted by an Egyptian obelisk coming from the temple of Isis. Nowadays the square is characterised by many open-air café tables in front of the Panthéon, destination of many tourists.
